Kalik, Kalik and More Kalik

We had originally planned to roadtrip cross country from Gainesville, Florida to Las Vegas, Nevada.  The details had been discussed, and to 5 college guys they were logical and flawless.  First we were borrowing Pov's dad's big red van.  The five of us would each pull shifts at the wheel, allowing us to reach Vegas in two days.  The midway point would be Austin, Texas where we would hit Rat's parent's house for a home cooked meal and showers.  In Vegas, we would pile into one room and enjoy the all of the casinos, $5.95 buffets and nightlife that the strip had to offer.  After 4 or 5 days in Vegas we would make our way back in time to resume classes after a great Spring Break.

Well, that plan died when we couldn't get the van, funds were short and it just sort of fell apart.  We were days before Spring Break and stranded without a plan.  That's is, until Al found a deal on a cruise to the Bahamas for $350...all inclusive!

The details of the week are rather fuzzy.  I remember enjoying lots of the the local beer, Kalik, hitting a few beaches during port calls and in general relaxing in the sun and enjoying the company of fellow Spring Breakers.

If it's info on the Bahamas you seek...call a travel agent!  All I can tell you is that it was fun.
